Description:
IGF-DES (1–3) is a potent truncated analog of Insulin-Like Growth Factor-1 (IGF-1), consisting of the natural 67-amino-acid sequence missing the first three amino acids of native IGF-1. This modification significantly increases its biological activity and reduces binding affinity to IGF-binding proteins (IGFBPs), allowing more free peptide to interact with cell receptors.
